Spring: Mercury’s in RetroGreta

Night sky by Greta Rhuberg

Aries (The Ram): March 21–April 19

Happy Birthday, Aries! As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries represents renewal, birth, and youth, making you the baby of the zodiac. Feel free to take your chance to act like it, too. Remember, your birthday only comes once a year, and it’s your party, so you can cry if you want to!

Taurus (The Bull): April 20–May 20

Venus, your ruling planet, is in your sign until April 10, so make quick work of practicing self-love. It is also the planet of beauty and pleasure, so maybe take care of yourself by upgrading your appearance. When was the last time that you bought a new mascara? You know those are supposed to be replaced every 3 months, right?

Gemini (The Twins): May 21–June 21

Lucky lucky lucky! The sign of the twins are getting double the luck throughout spring as the Sun moves through your networking sector until April 20, and then Venus moves into your sign from April 11 to May 7. Redownload Bumble if you’re single, it’s time to be lucky in love. If you’re not single, start dropping hints like it’s no tomorrow about the fancy restaurant you’d like your love to take you to.

Cancer (The Crab): June 22–July 22

The moon rules cancer. If you’re anything like the Cancer that’s writing this, you’ll want to stay inside and lock yourself away for the upcoming full moons (April 6, May 5, June 3) to avoid being a menace to your loved ones. The full moon brings irritability, drama, and emotional outbursts, time them well.

Leo (The Lion): July 23–August 22

For a sign that is ruled by the sun, you sure can be lazy in the mornings, right? You should take some time this Spring to get up early and go outside in the mornings. Enjoy the sun, don’t sleep in EVERY day, just some of them. You’d be amazed at the difference it can make in a dazzling sign like you!

Virgo (The Virgin): August 23–September 22

Okay, let’s be honest with each other, you little chronic over-booker. You probably love to have a full calendar, and that’s valid. This season, though, you should own it. Fill that Lilly Pulitzer branded desk calendar with color coded sticky notes and bask in the aftermath of the full moon in Virgo.

Libra (The Balance): September 23–October 23

You’ll be grumpy in a way that can’t be fixed with a Snickers bar for a while, and I’m sorry, but that may just be how it is for a bit. Relationships may have been a little volatile recently, try to keep to yourself and not encourage any big fights in this time. Unless you like to fight. In which case, grab your boxing gloves, baby, because it’s your season!

Scorpio (The Scorpion): October 24–November 21

Hot girl (or boy, or enby) Spring time for Scorpio! A new moon and solar eclipse fall on April 20 which means tha you need to start paying attention to how you treat yourself. As a water sign, what you put into the world is what you’ll get out of it, and that’s especially true for self love right now. Also a good time to decide you aren’t going to keep putting up with shit (which is part of self love).

Sagittarius (The Archer): November 22–December 21

It must be nice to share a sun sign with Taylor Swift. As Taylor shake-shake-shake’s through her Eras tour, you should, too. In early June, you may find some issues in your personal life when the full moon happens in your sign. Enter your Reputation era with grace. We’ll be waiting for you on the other side.

Capricorn (The Goat): December 22–January 19

It’s a tight one through April. You’re probably going to find that you don’t feel like you have the time to dedicate to loved ones as the sun moves through your home zone until April 20. But when you take the time to set aside your work and just spend a day showing and fostering your love, it’ll be a good one!

Aquarius (The Water Bearer): January 20–February 18

You’re probably tired of hearing this, but trust your instincts, they’re stronger than usual right now, even for you! It’s a good time to be creative to get you out of your mega funk that you’ve been in all Winter. If you’ve felt like you havent been able to do literally anything recently, this will get you back into the swing of things!

Pisces (The Fish): February 19–March 20

Your post-birthday sadness is hopefully wearing off and returning to the usual excitement of Springtime. Glad to welcome you back into the world of the living. It’s about to get tough again, prepare to be tested by the world, BUT also prepare to come out on the best side of it all. Your time is coming, and soon at that! As the world warms up, hopefully your life should, too.
